The breadth of the courses covered in the program provide the student with a strong foundation in Biotechnology, and the program and course content keep learners informed of recent developments in this rapidly advancing field in the Biological Sciences. The Biotechnology Program at AURAK prepares students for the workplace in the pharmaceutical industry, hospital, or forensics laboratories and in higher education programs. The Biotechnology Department has two Biotechnology laboratories that are fully equipped for carrying out the laboratory-based modules and includes facilities for tissue culture, molecular biology, and microbiology.
