Newsletter - Issue 3          Academic Excellence, Redefined          Dec. 1, 2016

As we enter December, with the end of an eventful 2016 in sight, the pace has not slowed at AURAK. November was a typically busy month, with the faculty, staff and students all involved in a wide range of activities on and off campus.

This week saw the university celebrate the UAE's 45th National Day since independence in 1971 with a day-long program and our annual mini-marathon. Students and faculty from all schools actively partcipated in the second annual Innovation Week which included a series of lectures and workshops on campus and a display of students' projects at the three-day exhibition at RAK Expo.

The AURAK Reading Club continues to hold monthly get-togethers, and the Department of International Programs and Partnerships organized the university's first International Education Week, celebrating our vibrant multiculturalism and exposing students to the study abroad opporunities available to them.

Please take the time to learn about all of these activities, and more, and if you have any feedback or suggestions on how you believe the newsletter could be improved, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at pr@aurak.ac.ae.
