Welcome to the latest edition of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah's monthly newsletter.

As always, an eventful month on and off campus. The Department of International Programs and Partnerships hosted a group of 16 South Korean students from Keimyung University, visiting the United Arab Emirates for the first time.

We signed a partnership agreement with the UAE Space Agency which will lead to exciting opportunities for our faculty and students, as well as an agreement with the local guard group, who will now take care of campus security.

Following the success of December's ICEDSA conference, AURAK has been named one of IEEE's strategic partners. The School of Engineering hosted a conference promoting women's opportunities in STEM education, alongside the Arab-German Young Academy, while the university also unveiled its plans for the future development of the campus.
