Our admissions requirements are designed to ensure that each student has the skills, knowledge, and commitment required to thrive in our challenging and rewarding environment.

Students must achieve 80% or higher in Mathematics and Physics in high school, or pass the Accuplacer test in these subjects except for Chemical Engineering students must achieve 80% or higher in Mathematics and Chemistry in high school, or pass the Accuplacer test in these subjects 
Engineering
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Computer Science
Students must achieve 80% or higher in Mathematics and Physics in high school, or pass the Accuplacer test in these subjects
Engineering Architecture Placement in the appropriate Mathematics course will be determined based on the student’s high school results in Math or Accuplacer test results
Arts and Sciences Biotechnology Students must achieve 80% or higher in Biology in high school, or pass the Accuplacer test in these subjects.
Arts and Sciences Mass Communication No Additional Testing Required

Note: Other requirements might apply based on an applicant's specific school system. The Office of Enrollment Management has the right to request any additional on-campus testing and/or supporting documents of external testing scores based on admissions review and evaluation.

Program-Specific Degree Requirements

The following program-specific admission requirements apply:

Program Requirements

Master of Education : Educational Leadership

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience of teaching or equivalent work experience is required.
  • The minimum entry requirement for the Master of Education is a CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

Executive Master of Business Administration

  • A baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent in the applicant’s undergraduate degree program;
  • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, with a major or minor in Business Studies, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Management/Business Information Systems with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or its recognized equivalent in the applicant’s undergraduate degree program, or
  • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, in a non-business field with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, followed by a postgraduate certificate or diploma in a business-related field.
  • The students must also submit an experience certificate, which proves at least five years of work experience in a managerial position to be eligible.
  • Successful Personal Interview with School of Business Faculty.

Master of Business Administration

  • A baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent in the applicant’s undergraduate degree program;
  • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, with a major or minor in Business Studies, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Management/Business Information Systems with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or its recognized equivalent in the applicant’s undergraduate degree program, or
  • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, in a non-business field with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, followed by a postgraduate certificate or diploma in a business-related field.
  • This MBA program will be geared toward applicants with zero (0) to five (5) years of work experience.
  • Successful Personal Interview with School of Business Faculty.

Master of Science in Engineering Project Management

  • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Qualified applicants requiring prerequisite courses may be required to take such courses in addition to their regular graduate program courses.
  • Students with no prior background in probability and statistics will be required to take IENG 241 (Engineering Statistic).
  • Students with no prior background in engineering economy will be required to take IENG 321 (Engineering Economy).

Master of Science in Sustainable and Renewable Energy

  • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Qualified applicants requiring prerequisite courses may be required to take such courses in addition to their regular graduate program courses.

  • The program chair will determine the remedial courses required based on evaluation of the school if required.
  • A grade of C or higher in a Level 100 English course from your bachelor’s degree may exempt you from English proficiency requirements.
