AURAK’s Framework for Integrity: Policies, Values, and Conduct

At AURAK, we are committed to fostering an ethical organizational culture founded on integrity and transparency. Our policies are designed to create a supportive, respectful, and ethical environment for both students and employees.

• Student Admissions Policy: Ensures a fair and transparent process for admitting students, promoting equality and accessibility for all applicants.
• Employee Recruitment Policy: Focuses on providing equal employment opportunities, ensuring a fair and non-discriminatory hiring process for prospective employees.
• Sustainable Procurement/Purchasing Policy: This policy aims to promote environmental responsibility and social sustainability through our procurement practices.
• Sustainable Investment Policy: Encourages investments that align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, thereby contributing to long-term environmental and societal well-being.
• Anti-Fraud, Bribery, and Corruption Policy: Provides a framework for identifying, preventing, and addressing fraud, bribery, and corruption in all forms, ensuring ethical conduct across the university.
• Grievance and Complaints Policy: Offers a clear and accessible process for employees and students to raise any grievances or complaints in a manner that is fair, confidential, and supportive.
• Whistleblowing Policy: Ensures that concerns regarding unethical behavior or misconduct can be reported in a safe, confidential manner without fear of retaliation, promoting transparency and accountability.
• Anti-Harassment (Students): This policy ensures a safe and respectful learning environment for students, prohibiting any form of harassment. Students can refer to the Student Handbook (Student Code of Conduct) or contact the Office of the Associate Provost for Student Affairs for more information.
• Anti-Harassment (Employees): This policy ensures a workplace free from harassment for all employees, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment. Employees can refer to the Staff Handbook or contact the Human Resources Department for more information.
• Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness: AURAK embraces diversity, inclusivity, and cultural authenticity, fostering a community of students, faculty, and staff who engage in respectful dialogue and mutual understanding. This is part of AURAK's core values.
