Overview
The Bachelor Degree of Marketing Program at AURAK is designed to give students practical, real-world education that equips them with efficient navigation through the rapidly progressing world of integrated marketing and technology. It provides students with the core components and essential elements of marketing as an art and as a science.
Students of the Marketing Department are, at first, introduced to basic courses in marketing to establish a solid marketing foundation. Once this objective is achieved, students move on to applying their knowledge to the realm of marketing, such as research, cases, and different empirical studies. They also learn about important marketing plan components, global and cultural issues.
The Department of Marketing expects its students to integrate the knowledge and experience they acquire in developing their own unique and cohesive future marketing strategies. With the rapidly developing new technologies and marketing theories, this program is also expected to give students the ability to deal with today’s marketing theories and prepares them for the world’s continued growth and modernization.
Mission of the Marketing Department:
The mission of the marketing department is to equip students with marketing knowledge, skills and to develop specialized students to become marketing professionals. This department is committed to fulfilling this mission by creating a unique teaching collaborative environment that takes into consideration professors, students and marketing professionals where marketing aspects become their common interest. Further, continual improvement of teaching methods, intellectual contributions, and services are integral part of the department’s mission.
