High School Requirements

Non UAE Curriculum The University Recognizes all the other certificates and converts their grades to the equivalent grade.
BS in Biotechnology UAE Curriculum Advanced (Scientific) 70%
General (Literary) 70% Successful completion of the qualifying subjects: Physics, Biology and Chemistry at AURAK.
Non UAE Curriculum The University Recognizes all the other certificates and converts their grades to the equivalent grade.
School of Business (All Business Programs) UAE Curriculum Advanced (Scientific) 70%
General (Literary) 75%
Non UAE Curriculum The University Recognizes all the other certificates and converts their grades to the equivalent grade.
EmSAT requirements are:
1) 1250 for English proficiency
2) 600 for Arabic language, and
3) 600 for mathematics. No conditional admission is granted for applicants with less than an EmSAT English proficiency score of 1100

Advanced Track 80%
Or Equivalent in Standardized International Systems
Non UAE Curriculum The University Recognizes all the other certificates and converts their grades to the equivalent grade.
EmSAT requirements are:
1) 1250 for English proficiency
2) 600 for Arabic language
3) 900 for mathematics
4) 800 for physics
Conditional Admissions: AURAK offers conditional admissions to students who are slight below the minimum admission criteria and specific curriculum’s.

Program-Specific Degree Requirements

The following program-specific admission requirements apply:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Education
    • A minimum of two (2) years of experience of teaching or equivalent educational work experience is required.
    • Students granted entry to the education programs with less than a 3.0 CGPA in their baccalaureate work must enter the PGDE rather than the MEd.
    • The minimum entry requirement is a CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Master of Education in Educational Leadership:
    • A minimum of two (2) years of experience of teaching or equivalent work experience is required.
    • Students transitioning from the Post Graduate Diploma in Education must have earned a CGPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale in their program of study for admission into the Master of Education.
    • The minimum entry requirement for the Master of Education is a CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Student having an entry CGPA less than 3.0 should enter the Post Graduate Diploma in Educatio
  • Executive Master of Business Administration:
    • A baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent in the applicant’s undergraduate degree program;
    • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, with a major or minor in Business Studies, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Management/Business Information Systems with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale or its recognized equivalent in the applicant’s undergraduate degree program, or
    • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, in a non-business field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale, followed by a postgraduate certificate or diploma in a business-related field.
    • The students must also submit an experience certificate, which proves at least five years of work experience in a managerial position to be eligible.
    • Successful Personal Interview with School of Business Faculty.
  • Master of Business Administration:
    • A baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent in the applicant’s undergraduate degree program;
    • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, with a major or minor in Business Studies, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Management/Business Information Systems with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale or its recognized equivalent in the applicant’s undergraduate degree program, or
    • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, in a non-business field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale, followed by a postgraduate certificate or diploma in a business-related field.
    • This MBA program will be geared toward applicants with zero (0) to five (5) years of work experienc
    • Successful Personal Interview with School of Business Faculty.
  • Master of Science in Engineering Project Management:
    • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Qualified applicants requiring prerequisite courses may be required to take such courses in addition to their regular graduate program courses.
    • Students with no prior background in probability and statistics will be required to take IENG 241 Engineering Statistic
    • Students with no prior background in engineering economy will be required to take IENG 321 (Engineering Economy).
  • Master in Infrastructure Engineering
    • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Qualified applicants requiring prerequisite courses may be required to take such courses in addition to their regular graduate program courses.
  • Master of Science in Sustainable and Renewable Energy
    • A baccalaureate degree, or its equivalent, in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Qualified applicants requiring prerequisite courses may be required to take such courses in addition to their regular graduate program courses.

NOTE: Students who have completed undergraduate education in an English-medium institution might be allowed admission into a graduate program without demonstrating TOEFL score of 550 (or equivalent). This exemption can be applicable only to those students who undertook all their schooling (K-12) plus a Bachelor’s degree in English in a reference English speaking country (e.g. UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand)

Spring 2022 Application deadline is 22 January 2022.

International students must apply two weeks in advance of the stated deadline to meet visa processing requirements.
