Dar Al Ber Society Helps Feed International Students during Ramadan

The International Students’ Programs office (ISP) of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) worked with the Dar Al Ber Society to support international students living in the dormitories.
The ISP asked for financial, food and health aid for the students due to the Covid-19 situation.
The Dar Al Ber charity organization donated iftar meals for 65 international students – 32 of them AURAK students and 33 from other institutions – living in the dorms during the holy month of Ramadan.
Dar Al Ber is considered one of the first charities in the UAE. A ministerial decree issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs in established Dar Al Ber as a charity, cultural and social body in 1979.
The Dar Al Ber Board of Directors was formed according to the directives and decisions of His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
