AURAK Team Wins Soccer Championship

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) soccer team won the Inter University Soccer Championship 2019.
In the final against Ajman University, AURAK scored in the 5th minute but Ajman equalized in the final minute of the game. AURAK won the penalty shoot-out 4-3 to take the title.
“I’m so delighted to learn that our AURAK soccer team has won the Inter Universities Soccer Championship 2019. It is excellent news for an excellent team,” said Professor Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, the AURAK President.
Eighteen teams from universities in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah took part in the tournament.
