AURAK CCE Earns ISO Certification

The Center for Continuing Education and Community Services (CCE&CS) at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah has gained the International Certificate ISO 9001/2008 for quality management from the International Organization for Standardization, after its success in meeting the required standards in terms of its quality management system.  The certification has been gained after intensive cooperation with the University’s various departments, which provided full support to the center as it strived to meet the ISO requirements. Professor Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, the president of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah was very pleased with the achievement stating: “We are very proud that the CCE&CS meets the quality standards which have enabled the center to obtain the ISO certificate.  This qualification reflects positively on the center in terms of its service to society.”

The ISO certificate has been granted to Mr. Hichem Mezghani, Manager of the CCE, after the center demonstrated its ability to meet the standards for the quality management system and its applications in accordance with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001/2008.  The certification covers the areas of training, consulting, tests and community service.

Mr. Hichem Mezghani was delighted with the achievement, stating, “I am very proud of this achievement.  I want to thank all of my colleagues at the University, as well as the members of the CCE who gave their full commitment in order to achieve this goal.  I would also like to thank Professor Hassan Al Alkim, President of AURAK, for his continuous support for all the quality assurance initiatives.”
