Dr. Rabei Al Jawry joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) as a Visiting Assistant Professor in 2021. He obtained his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, University of Mosul, Iraq in 2008. In 2012, he obtained his Master of Computer science from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Universiti Technical Malaysia Malaka (UTeM), Malacca, Malaysia. Furthering his passion of research and improve the knowledge in information security, he obtained his Doctorate degree in Information technology (Information Security) from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Johor, Malaysia in 2019. During his graduate studies, Dr. Rabei worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology-UTHM. He worked as a lecturer in University of Raparin, Sulaymaniyah, Iraq from 2013-2015. His research interests are in the area of Digital Forensics (file carving), machine learning, neural networks, and image recovery.
