Dr. Shiyong Peng received his PhD from City University of Hong Kong. His area of specialization is communication and his research interest includes intercultural communication, public relations, and mass communication. Over the past 35 years Dr. Peng has worked in the universities in China, Macao SAR, Oman, Cyprus, Thailand, and UAE. Before joining AURAK, Dr. Peng was the Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication Studies and Languages of Abu Dhabi University.

Research

Dr. Shiyong’s area of specialization is communication and his research interest include intercultural communication, public relations, and mass communication. He received the Local Research Grant from Guangzhou University, China in 2010 and a Strategic Research Grant from Shantou University, China in 2003.
