The Department of Enrollment Management is a unit of the Office of Student Affairs and is organized to deliver services that align with the university’s mission by supporting students as they pursue their programs of study at the university.
Our Mission
Enrollment Management fosters the well-being and development of students as whole persons, complementing and enhancing their academic skills while preparing them for leadership roles in a global society. Through programs and services, we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion as essential ingredients of academic excellence and personal development.
Our Purpose
Enrollment Management plays a vital role in the campus community by creating programs and providing services that are responsive to the personal, social, educational, cultural, and recreational needs of the AURAK student community. Enrollment Management is committed to providing the means, opportunities, facilities, and support to create an environment in which students can be developed as socially active, aware individuals and well-rounded citizens of the world.
Enrollment Management strives to get students involved, keep them active, and make university life beneficial and enjoyable.
Our Units:
To effectively and efficiently serve our students, the Department of Enrollment Management consists of two units. These units are: 1) Department of Admissions, and the 2) Department of Scholarships & Financial Aid.
The services provided for student development parallel the development of AURAK as it evolves in terms of physical space and student numbers. These services are being expanded and supplemented to facilitate achievement of the following broad goals.
- Cultivate a diverse and multicultural student body to ensure a healthy, friendly, and integrated academic environment.
- Engage students in addressing their personal challenges and reaching their professional goals.
- Promote an environment of tolerance in which issues of international, national and local concern can be effectively addressed.
- Provide equal access for students with disabilities.
- Include parents and families as part of a wider AURAK family.
