
Ms. Hanan Elsayed
Instructor - Mass Communication
Hanan Elsayed joined the American University of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates as a Mass Communication Instructor at the College of Arts and Sciences in September 2018.
She worked as a lecturer at Al Falah University in Dubai during the year2015, and the University of Al Jazeera in the UAE between 2014 and 2017, as an assistant researcher at Zayed University in 2016, as a visiting teacher at East Carolina University in the United States of America during the same year, and a supervisor of the Macintosh laboratory at the University of Sharjah between 2001 and 2018. She also headed the art department at Fortune Advertising Company between 1998 and 2001, in addition to her work as a graphic designer at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising in Dubai between 1997 and 1998.
She has participated in many regional conferences and symposia in the field of public relations, electronic journalism, communications, and design. She has published articles in the media, communication, and social media.
Hanan is a Ph.D. candidate in Electronic Media, Cairo University expectation of graduating in Dec 2023.
Title of her Thesis “Reliance on traditional and digital media to obtain information during the Corona pandemic in the United Arab Emirates”
She holds an MA in Mass Communication and Media in 2014 from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, a BA in Mass Communication in 2009 from the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University, a BA in Agriculture in 1996 from the Higher Institute for Agricultural Cooperation in Egypt, and a professional diploma in Graphic design in 2014 from Egypt, and a professional diploma in digital media in 2013 from the University of Sharjah.
