AURAK Alumna Awarded for Government Excellence

An alumna from the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Samya Mohammed, has received an award for government excellence for her role at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Knowledge Development.

An alumna from the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Samya Mohammed, has received an award for government excellence for her role at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Knowledge Development.

Samya graduated with honors in 2014 with a degree in business administration. Speaking about the award, she thanked her parents and family for their continued support, as well as her employers at the ministry.

The award was presented to her by H. H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, minister of presidential affairs and member of the ruling family of Abu Dhabi, at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The award was created by the federal government to recognize public sector employees for their commitment and outstanding service.
