AURAK and Tajikistan Consolidate Cooperation in Higher Education and Scientific Research

Bahodur M. Sharifi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UAE visit to AURAK comes within the framework of consolidating the excellent existing relations between the two nations, stressing on the desire of both parties to further strengthen ties in a vital economic sector: Higher Education & Scientific Research.

Prof. Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, President of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, welcomed His Excellency in attendance of senior executive staff and faculty of AURAK. HE. Ambassador was accompanied by H.E Dilovarjon Bahromzoda, First Secretary, Head of Consul Section of the Embassy of Tajikistan to the UAE.

The Republic of Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates have established a strong alliance in the field of science and education. Numerous of Tajiki students are currently enrolled and pursuing studies in higher education institutions in the United Arab Emirates.

It is noteworthy that with annual participation in UAE cultural festivals & exhibitions, including the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival and the Sharjah Heritage Festival, Tajikistan has continuously presented the rich and vibrant culture of the people of Tajikistan.

AURAK aims at strengthening the partnership between Ras Al Khaimah and Tajikistan through shared resources in the field of student exchange programs, collaborative research project, tourism & hospitality, and many more.
