AURAK Celebrating Nine Years of Stunning Success

Established by royal decree on April 8, 2009, the American University of Ras Al Khaimah’s (AURAK) celebrated its ninth anniversary this year.

AURAK faculty and staff celebrated the anniversary with an evening banquet, with the AURAK family taking the opportunity to socialize with friends and colleagues. Prof. Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, AURAK President, spoke briefly, welcoming the audience and reflecting on the remarkable progress the university has undergone over the nine short years since its inception. Prof. Al Alkim expressed his gratification to everyone for their work with the development of the university’s various programs both locally and internationally. He looked forward to a bright future for the university the numerous aspirations to be fulfilled on the horizon. He then concluded by again thanking the faculty and staff for their dedication and labor which has been the source of the university’s success, as well as its prosperous year.
