AURAK Center for Continuing Education – Hospitality and Culinary Arts Graduation Ceremony

Twenty-one national job seekers participated in the first graduation ceremony for a diploma in Hospitality and Culinary Arts. The ceremony was held at the Emirates Association for Social Development Theater. The program is part of the diverse curricula offered by The Center for Continuing Education at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah.

This diploma is an initiative of RAK government and American University of Ras Al Khaimah, to give young talented UAE national women a chance to get trained in Hospitality and Culinary Arts. The diploma was organized by five reputable organizations which are American University of Ras Al Khaimah, Human Resource Department- RAK Government, Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence, McQueen’s, and Hilton World Wide.

“AURAK is proud with the students’ achievements as they are the first UAE national women trained in this field. This diploma achieves one of the main goals of the university – community engagement,” said Prof. Hasan Al Akim, President of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah.

Each graduate of the program received three accredited certificates from AURAK, McQueen’s and the City of London College.

CCE’s mission aims to develop people and support their personal and professional growth. CCE establishes partnerships to enhance workforce skills by collaboratively designing and delivering quality training programs for working professionals. CCE offers preparation courses for international exams that enable people to enter institutions of higher education and a variety of courses for community members to foster their personal growth.
