Professor W. Julian Korab-Karpowicz, from the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies at Zayed University, Dubai, has visited the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) in order to speak about his latest book entitled ‘Tractatus Politico-Philosphicus and the Seven Principles of a Happy Society’.

The book’s objectives, according to Prof. Korab-Karpowicz, are ‘to establish the principles of a good state and a happy society too open up new directions for the future development of humankind’.
At the conclusion of the lecture, Prof. Korab-Karpowicz also hosted a question and answer session, in which he stressed that philosophy and religion are not mutually exclusive, pointing out that many of the great philosophers were also deeply religious.
Prof. Korab-Karpowicz specializes in Political Philosophy and has taught in universities in South Korea, Lebanon, Turkey, China and the United States. He has published five books.
