AURAK signed an MOU with AL Mizan International L.L.C.

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) President, Professor Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Managing Director of Al Mizan International L.L.C, Kaival Doshi.

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is a public non-profit, independent, coeducation institution of higher education which delivers an integrated American-style, undergraduate and graduate education with a strong focus on the local indigenous culture. Al Mizan is a certified company that provides solar solutions in United Arab Emirates.

AURAK and Al Mizan have agreed on exchange the information of the researches, events products, projects, and training programs in the area of mutual interest. Solar PV installation project was agreed to be undertaken collaboratively with introducing the clients to Al Mizan. Both parties agreed on joint research collaboration that will be published under the name of AURAK and Al Mizan. Al Mizan agreed on providing internship opportunities for AURAK students based on the policies of both parties. AURAK and Al Mizan will be meeting at least on a year to discuss areas of cooperation for developing work plans to describe more specifically the activities to be carried.

Prof. Hasan Al Alkim conclude the agreement commenting “I look forward to future enterprises with Al Mizan as we now have access to an industry expert in solar PV installation, allowing students yet another opportunity to advance professionally. It is also incredible that through this venture we will be discovering solutions in energy conservation to ensure a brighter tomorrow.”
