AURAK to Hold SGA Elections Online during COVID-19 Precautions
The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is to hold elections online for the Student Government Association (SGA) positions for the Academic Year 2020-2021 while the campus is closed as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19.
The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is to hold elections online for the Student Government Association (SGA) positions for the Academic Year 2020-2021 while the campus is closed as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19.
The SGA represents the student body, provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate leadership and serves as a liaison between the students and the University administration. It also plays an important role in planning and sponsoring student campus activities and events.
Interested students can apply for the following posts: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Public Relations Officer.
Applications are open from April 16 to 21, 2020 and eligible candidates can submit videos with their objectives, reasons and platform for running from April 21 to 25. Online voting is to take place from April 26 to 27 and the new officers will be announced on April 28.
