Delegation from Kuwaiti Consulate visits American University of Ras Al Khaimah

A delegation from Kuwaiti Consulate in Dubai visited American University in Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) to inspect the facilities and educational programs offered by the university.

The delegation was welcomed by Professor Hassan Hamdan Alalkim, President of the University, who briefed them on the university’s portfolio of programs and its achievements in recent years.

The Kuwaiti delegation consisted of Mr. Hani Khaled Alshayji, Cultural Attache, and Mr. Hisham Al Nabtiti, Academic Advisor, at the Consulate.

The delegation later toured the facilities, accompanied by Prof. Dr. John Ryder, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Abdalla Shaheen, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Mr. Yacoub Tahtamouni, Corporate Communications Manager, and deans of different schools of the university. The delegation inspected the educational, extracurricular and accommodation facilities at the university and took a keen interest in its programs.

The tour came as a follow-up to last month’s visit to the Kuwaiti Consulate by a delegation from the university in which both sides discussed potential areas of cooperation. The two sides discussed ways to facilitate the induction of Kuwaiti students who wish to pursue master degrees at the University.

They also discussed different areas of potential cooperation.

The Kuwaiti delegation expressed satisfaction over the quality of programs and facilities offered by AUARK and reiterated their commitment to promote stronger cooperation with the University as a result of the visit.
