The American University of Ras Al Khaimah’s (AURAK) football team has celebrated further success, this time in the Higher Colleges of Technology 7-a-side tournament.
AURAK submitted two sides, both of whom performed at their usual high level. After five games each, AURAK finished as champions of Group A and runners-up in Group B.
Perry Fernandes, the university’s student life officer for sports, was quick to congratulate the team on their latest achievement.
“Their hard work and dedication is inspiring, so I’m thrilled to see this effort translating to victories on the pitch. We work with our teams throughout the year, and moments like this are just a confirmation that we are on the right path. It does not end here though. We are always trying to improve and go one better, and I am confident that we can do that.”
