Omani Embassy of Abu Dhabi Tours AURAK

AURAK was honored by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman Cultural Attaché Abu Dhabi with a visit to the American University of Ras Al Khaimah.

Cultural Attache, Dr. Mohmood M. Al Sulaimi, met with AURAK President, Prof. Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost, Prof. Stephen Whilhite, and Dean of the Office of Student Services and Enrollment Management, Dr. Lee Waller.  Dr. Mohmood toured the AURAK facility and was profoundly impressed with the new Engineering building, the construction of the future RAK Bank Business Building, and renovation plans for Saqr Library.   The representative was easily able to see why such a high percentage of the Omani population view AURAK for their first choice when entering into an undergraduate or graduate program.

Prof. Hassan was excited by Dr. Mohmood’s visit, “We are simply thrilled that AURAK can serve such a substantial proportion of the Omani population, and we will strive to increase the number of the Omani population whom we provide excellence to in the future.”
