President’s Award for Faculty and Staff winners announced during a recent ceremony

Faculty and staff from across the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the AURAK community during the bi-annual President’s faculty and staff meeting recently held on campus.

Faculty and staff from across the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the AURAK community during the bi-annual President’s faculty and staff meeting recently held on campus.

The President’s Award for Faculty and Staff is the top award presented to AURAK academic and professional staff in recognition of excellence in research, teaching and service to AURAK in line with the vision and goals of the university.

Prof. Hassan Al Alkim, President of AURAK, said: “As a university, we are honored to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of our colleagues who demonstrated a remarkable range of skills, persistence, and compassion and who have gone above and beyond to serve the faculty, staff, students and the local and international community.”

“Choosing a winner is always challenging since AURAK is built upon the foundation of innovation, inspiration, and kindness,” he added.

Faculty and staff members were given the opportunity to self-nominate or nominate their colleagues for various categories.  The President’s Faculty and Staff Awards Committees selected the winners based on the eligibility and criteria set for each category.
