Prof. Bilal Akash visits RAK Research and Innovation Center
Prof. Bilal Akash, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, visited RAK Research and Innovation Center and met the working researchers there. Prof. Bilal Akash, Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, visited RAK Research and Innovation Center and met the working researchers there. The aim of the meeting was to discuss how to integrate research activities at the center within the university. Prof. Akash stated that AURAK has a strong belief that the center enhances the solar energy, water and sustainability research activities at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah by supporting faculty and students’ research, facilitating interaction between experimental activities and theoretical investigations of scientists, hosting visiting researchers and fostering communication of research to a broader community.
Also, Prof. Bilal Akash explained the newly AURAK journal publication incentives policy to encourage and support faculty and researchers to publish their research findings in reputable journals.
Prof. Mousa Mohsen, the Director of RAK Research and Innovation Center said, “In addition to research and development activities the center is about to start providing special services in water quality testing and energy auditing.” Also, the center is providing specialized training courses for the public and private sector.
