RAKRIC takes active part at Dubai Solar Energy workshop on Soiling Effect on PV

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and National Renewable Laboratory (NREL) US conducted a joint workshop on Soiling Effect on PV to bring together scientific experts and industry leaders from all over the world.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and National Renewable Laboratory (NREL) US conducted a joint workshop on Soiling Effect on PV to bring together scientific experts and industry leaders from all over the world. RAKRIC researchers actively participated in the event to discuss ways to identify, characterize and mitigate the effect of soiling on the performance of MW scale PV power plants and find solutions to one the most influential problems. Use of anti-reflective (AR) and anti-soiling (AS) coating was also discussed and industry experts from the field were available to discuss the existing market and how to move forward to come up with region specific solutions. The development of international glossary for the standards were also decided, which does not exist at the moment for soiling effect on PV.
