Visit of Researchers from Germany and UAE at RAKRIC
Researchers from Germany and UAE research institutes visited the RAK Research and innovation center. These researchers are currently attending the first German-UAE Workshop on Energy and Water in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries (EWGCC).
Researchers from Germany and UAE research institutes visited the RAK Research and innovation center. These researchers are currently attending the first German-UAE Workshop on Energy and Water in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries (EWGCC). The EWGCC Workshop is organized by Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe and American University of Ras Al Khaimah. Moreover, this workshop is supported by German Research Foundation (DFG). The idea of this workshop is to open the door for future cooperation between the Germans and United Arab Emirates research partners and institutions. As part of this workshop these researchers visited the RAKRIC facility, they were impressed by the state of the art facility available at the center. Furthermore, they showed keen interest in collaboration with the RAKRIC center on various research fronts such as, integration of Heat Pumps for solar cooling, usage of drones for the solar power plant monitoring etc.
