CENTER OF INFORMATION, COMMUNICATION AND NETWORKING EDUCATION AND INNOVATION

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has established the Center of Information, Communication, Networking Education and Innovation (ICONET), an innovative ICT research center operating under the School of Engineering. The Telecommunication and Regulatory Authority's ICT Fund provides valuable support to ICONET's mission to advance AURAK's central objective of becoming a leading educational and innovation hub.

The primary aim of ICONET is to foster excellence in ICT education and innovation, with a particular focus on addressing national challenges in science and engineering. The Center provides students and faculty with a supportive structure and resources to achieve these goals. ICONET encompasses a range of activities, including research and development, business incubation, programming education for schools, and training. These activities are all unified under the umbrella of ICT, furthering ICONET's role in advancing cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.
