Saba University School of Medicine & Medical University of the Americas

This partnership provides AURAK students with the opportunity to pursue a U.S.-style MD degree at Saba University School of Medicine or the Medical University of the Americas. While the MD is structured as a four-year program, eligible AURAK students may follow a 3+4 academic pathway under the agreement.

Students who successfully complete certain credits from AURAK’s BSc in Biotechnology program may apply to the MD program at Saba or MUA, meeting each medical school’s admission requirements. Applicants who meet the minimum criteria are guaranteed an interview by both institutions.

Within the pathway program, after completing the first two semesters of the MD program, credits are transferred back to AURAK, and students are awarded the BSc in Biotechnology degree.

Scholarship Support

Eligible AURAK students admitted to the MD program may receive partnership scholarships, subject to specified criteria.

This partnership provides a clear, structured, and globally recognized pathway from undergraduate study at AURAK to a medical career in the United States.
