AURAK and GADHA Group Sign MoU

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has signed a new partnership with GADHA Group Initiatives. This strategic partnership opens up new opportunities for both parties in the mutual interest of investing in the youth potential.

Professor Hassan Al Alkim, President of AURAK, welcomed the agreement, emphasizing the role that AURAK plays in preparing its students to be the leaders of tomorrow.  He believes that the agreement will be beneficial to all participating parties: students will gain valuable experience volunteering to help in their local community, which is in keeping with the University’s strategic goal of civic responsibility.

Eng. Khaled Habeeb Al Attar, founder and chairman of GADHA Group Initiatives, said he was glad to see a renowned institution such as AURAK showing a profound interest in prospering the community through youth empowerment.

AURAK is a public non-profit, coeducation institution of higher education which delivers an integrated American-style education.  As the University develops, it is becoming an increasingly prominent institution not just in Ras Al Khaimah, but the region as a whole, as demonstrated by its growing number of local and international partnerships.

Launched in January 2015, GADHA Group Initiatives is a non-profit organization, created to serve the community of Ras Al Khaimah, and the United Arab Emirates through youth empowerment.  GADHA initiatives are branched into six main categories: training event managers, supporting the talented, supporting youth programs, initiatives for innovation and knowledge, initiatives for youth empowerment and leadership.
