AURAK Celebrates 8th Birthday
The American University of Ras Al Khaimah’s (AURAK) has celebrated its 8th anniversary, having been officially established by royal decree on April 8, 2009.
The American University of Ras Al Khaimah’s (AURAK) has celebrated its 8th anniversary, having been officially established by royal decree on April 8, 2009.
With last week being particularly busy however, AURAK faculty and staff celebrated the anniversary yesterday, taking the opportunity to socialize with friends and colleagues.
Prof. Hassan Al Alkim, AURAK president, spoke briefly, reflecting on the changes the university has undergone over the eight short years since its inauguration, as well as the university’s future ambitions. He also thanked the faculty and staff for their commitment throughout what has been an immensely successful year for their university.
