AURAK establishes Entrepreneurship Center
The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has established AURAK Centre for Entrepreneurship (ACE), a new standard for creating student-centered entrepreneurial ecosystems.
American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has established AURAK Centre for Entrepreneurship (ACE), a new standard for creating student-centered entrepreneurial ecosystems.
AURAK has also created in collaboration with the Center for Information, Communication and Networking Education and Innovation (ICONET) an Entrepreneurship Hub providing business and technology solutions to startups.
The center is one of its kinds in the Northern Emirates offering various services to students, alumni, corporate sector and community including a unique and patented Business Plan Evaluation Service that is provided to entrepreneurs within the community, students and alumni incubating with ACE to launch their business under the supervision of Dr. Tahseen Arshi, Director of ACE, and incubated startups acting as role models for other students aspiring to create startups.
ACE can house up to 16 incubated firms and is equipped with innovation spaces and breakout rooms. It also launched Knowledge and Innovation Transfer Entity (KITE) to assist corporate firms in developing entrepreneurial orientation and corporate innovation.
