AURAK honored for its efforts

American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has been honored by Human Resources Department of Ras Al Khaimah (HRD) during the ceremony which organized at the RAK Chamber of Commerce theater, in the occasion of honoring HRD’s strategic partners of 2015. The awards ceremony has been organized as a recognition of their outstanding support to the HR department. Professor Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim the president of AURAK has attended the ceremony, alongside with a group of managers and representatives of both governmental and private companies.

Professor Al Alkim expressed his happiness on this occasion, saying that “I am very pleased that the American Ras Al Khaimah has been honored, alongside with other Human Resources Department’s strategic partners”. He stressed that human resources are a main part of AURAK’s strategic goals to be achieved through the university’s academic programs.

AURAK has strong relationships with Human Resources Department, culminated by signing different agreements and memorandums of understanding on training programs and courses of improving employees’ performance. Also, AURAK offers discounts to HRD employees who wish to continue their education. In addition to that, AURAK is a strategic partner in “Mazaya” program, which is a discount program directed to the employees of Ras Al Khaimah Government, launched by the Human Resources Department.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullatif Khalifa, Director General of the Department of Human Resources, said that this ceremony is a result of collective work and efforts from all institutions, either governmental or private, which are providing the best services and facilities to all Ras Al Khaima Government’s employees.

AURAK awarded with an appreciation certificate, as well as a memorial shield, both received by Professor Hassan Hamdan AlAlkim.

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is an independent co-education institution of Higher Education that provides an integrated American-style, undergraduate and graduate education with a strong focus on local indigenous culture. The UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research accredit all of AURAK’s programs.
