AURAK Hosts Annual Job Fair

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) organized its second annual job fair. The fair, which ran over the course of two days, had been organized in cooperation with a number of the university’s partners from government and private sectors.

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) organized its second annual job fair. The fair, which ran over the course of two days, had been organized in cooperation with a number of the university’s partners from government and private sectors.

A large number of employers from both public and private-sector institutions are exhibiting at the fair, eager to interact with the university’s pool of talented students and alumni. The fair also attracted job-seekers from all across the Northern Emirates, as well as Dubai, who had the opportunity to meet employers, learn more about the job market and submit their CVs.

The fair was opened by Professor Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, AURAK president, who welcomed the public to the university, before stating, “This initiative represents an excellent opportunity for employers and potential employees to connect. I urge you all to make the most of your time here, learn more about the exact career path you wish to take, and network.

Prof. Al Alkim also had a message for the participating employers at the job fair, emphasizing on the quality of AURAK’s students: “We take great pride in our undergraduate and graduate programs, distinguished professors, and reputation for academic excellence. I have great confidence that you will be impressed with the level of our students and graduates.”

Prof. Mousa Mohsen, dean of the School of Engineering, and Ms. Najah Al Wanni, took the opportunity to thank the sponsors for their efforts in ensuring that the fair was a success. These included RAK Human Resources Department, Al Nuaimi Group, RAK Precast, the Public Works and Services Department, Akhtaboot, Testello, Bayt. and the Emirates Digital Association for Women

RAK Research and Innovation Center, a research branch of the university, also participated, while a wide range of employers from various industries took part in the exhibition, such as RAK Free Trade Zone, Emirates NBD, Arab Bank, Air Arabia, Al Tayer Motors, RAK Municipality, Ajman Bank, Imdaad, NBAD, Dubli, the Focus Social Academy, the Fujairah Human Resources Department, Space Metaphor and Design, ICONET, Uniconsult, and the RAK Center for Statistics and Studies.
