AURAK hosts information session on the Master Programs in Engineering and Business

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) hosted an information session on the master programs in engineering and business for the benefit of the Ras Al Khaimah community.

A large number of employees from several government departments in Ras Al Khaimah attended the session and showed keen interest in the degree programs.

Prof. John Ryder, Vice President of Academic Affairs, delivered a welcome address and outlined the university’s current post-graduate offering and provided some insights into future plans.

Prof. Mousa Mohsen, Dean of School of Engineering, introduced the master degree program in Engineering Project Management offered by AURAK School of Engineering and highlighted the strengths and advantages of doing the program at the university.

Dr. Anthony Ayola, Dean of School of Business and Management, briefed the attendees on the key features of the master degree programs in business and management, and how they could enhance the career prospects of local employees.

Among the attendees were employees from many RAK government organisations, including Public Works Department, RAK Municipality, Public Prosecution, Ministry of Education, Emirates Identity Authority, e-Government and General Police Headquarters.

“The American University of Ras Al Khaimah has made rapid strides in offering quality post-graduates degree programs that are customized to the needs of local employees,” said Prof. Hassan Alalkim, President of AURAK. “Through this information session we were able to explain in detail the subjects covered in the programs as well as demonstrate how these programs could help in boosting career growth of current employees across the spectrum.”
