AURAK is SACSCOC Accredited
AURAK is the first institution in the Middle East to receive the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) institutional accreditation. SACSCOC is an American regional accreditation body of eleven Southern states of the USA and in Latin America for institutions of higher education, which awards associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and/or doctoral degrees.

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is a public non-profit, independent, coeducation institution of higher education, which delivers an integrated American-style, undergraduate and graduate education with a strong focus on the local indigenous culture.
AURAK has been working tirelessly since 2015 towards obtaining SACSCOC accreditation, and was proud that it had achieved its goal upon hearing the official announcement that came at the annual conference, which was held in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the United States of America.
