The Human Resources Department is one of the supporting departments of the Ras Al Khaimah Government that supervises human resources at the government level. The RAK HR mission is to develop governmental human resource policies in various fields to ensure the efficiency of human resources, providing support and guidance to governmental departments in the implementation of policies and systems, and presenting necessary services and programs to promote the productivity and competency level of human resources, helping to achieve the government's strategic objectives.
The exhibition contained a series of workshops entitled, “Leading Business,” How to Start a Successful Innovation Project,” “My University Skills and the Future Job Market,” and “Career Readiness.” It represents one of the initiatives of the RAK HR Department aligning with the vision of the RAK Government 2030 to encourage job seekers to join governmental departments associated with the RAK HR Department.
AURAK, an independent, public, state-owned, non-profit, coeducational institution offering undergraduate and graduate degrees based on the North American model and the cultural characteristics of the Gulf region, hosted the event with RAK Ceramics, RAK Bank, RAK Chamber, RAK Municipality, Environment Protection & Development Authority, Aman Shelter for Women & Children, and Protocol Department, all lending a hand in participation.
The AURAK President, Professor Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, was overjoyed with the initiative in that it facilitated students in their development to be job market-ready and enlightened them to possible job opportunities that await them upon graduation from the University.
