AURAK sponsors scholarship

On Thursday, March 12, the American University of Ras Al Khaimah held a ceremony commemorating an award of scholarship to students with the highest GPA and excellent academic performance. This scholarship is offered by AURAK and is available to only two students every semester that fulfill the selection criteria including a CGPA of 3.67 and above. The selected students will be eligible for 50 % scholarship on their semester’s tuition fees.

The Student Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee select two students that are the most deserving. A student receiving a scholarship from any other sponsor is not eligible for the AURAK’s scholarship.

Attendees for the event from AURAK included Prof. Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, President, Prof. John Ryder, Vice President of Academic Affairs & Provost, Mr. Abdullah Al Shahin, Vice President of Administrative Affairs and Chair of the Student Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee, Ms. Reema Abu Hilal, Financial Aid and Alumni Affairs Manager, Mr. Hani Bashar Abdelhadi.

The AURAK’s scholarship Award aims to recognize students’ outstanding academic performance and encourage all other students to work hard and improve their academic studies” said Prof. Hasan Al Alkim, President of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah.
