AURAK Visits Seoul National University
A delegation from the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has visited Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea, as it opened discussions on possible future collaboration.
A delegation from the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) has visited Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea, as it opened discussions on possible future collaboration.
The delegation, headed by Prof. Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, AURAK president, was in South Korea to learn more about the educational environment in the East Asian nation, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Incheon National University, which opens a range of possibilities for faculty and students at both institutions.
During their stay, the delegation also visited the capital, Seoul, where they met the president of Seoul National University. The two parties held a highly positive discussion with regards to areas of potential collaboration, with the intention of formalizing the relationship at a later date.
Prof. Al Alkim, speaking during the visit, stated, “These initial talks have been very constructive, and we look forward to building on these. We are always on the lookout for potential partners, as international collaboration brings with it opportunities for a variety of people in both countries, and benefits everyone academically, professionally and on a personal level.”
In addition to the new partnership with Incheon National University, AURAK are also partners with the Seoul-based Konkuk University, and hosted a cultural exchange visit in which students from Keimyung University spent two days in Ras Al Khaimah.
