Consul General of Jordan Accepts AURAK Invite

His Excellency Dr. Sa’ed Radaideh, Consul General of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, this week received Prof. Bilal Akash, vice president of academic affairs at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), and Dr. Kai Bruns, chair of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, at his mission premises in Dubai.

During the visit, Professor Bilal conveyed to H. E. Dr. Radaideh greetings from AURAK president, Prof. Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim and his cordial invitation to visit the university in February in order to give a talk on campus. Professor Bilal’s visit was a direct result of the Jordanian’s Ministry of Higher Education’s decision to place AURAK on its list of formally recognized institutions of higher education.

Prof. Bilal stated that the recognition of AURAK’s degrees by the Jordanian government is a great honor and an important step in the university’s quest for greater international recognition and accreditation. H. E. Dr. Radaideh stated that he would be delighted to give the talk and expressed his thanks for the invitation.

Subject to final approval, H. E. Dr. Radaideh will visit AURAK on Feb. 20, 2017, during which he will give a lecture on his work as General Consul to Dubai and the Northern Emirates and life skills education in the region.
