Dr. Maxime Attends MEMBS Conference in Istanbul

In line with the vision of AURAK President, Professor Hassan Al Alkim, students and faculty from the AURAK Department of Biotechnology actively participate in national and international events.  AURAK has participated in Second Annual Congress and Exhibition MEMBS 2015, Istanbul, organized by the Middle East Molecular Biology Society (MEMBS) at Istanbul Congress Center.

This unique Congress is one of the most significant scientific events in the region.  It gathers hundreds of the brightest minds and organizations in the field of biotechnology from all over the world every year, in order to discuss the latest updates, inventions, new subjects and news in Molecular Biology as well as to exchange experiences and exhibit the newest technologies.

Dr. Maxime Merheb was representing AURAK at the conference, delivering a talk entitled “AURAK’s Contribution towards Uplifting Science and Technology in Middle East”.  It was a great opportunity for AURAK to gain exposure in the international scientific community.

MEMBS Congresses are the result of the solidarity and coordination of great scientific efforts, supported by a group of the top scientific bodies in the region, and attended by most of the molecular biology communities in the Arab World (universities, organizations and companies).
