Graduation Ceremony held for Statistics and Data Analysis students

On the AURAK campus, a graduation ceremony was held for 20 female students who earned a professional diploma in Statistics from the AURAK Center for Continuing Education. Ten of the students were employees of the Ras Al Khaimah government and ten of the students were job seekers.

The Human Resources Department of the Ras Al Khaimah government and the Sheikh Saqr Program for Excellence sponsored the program. This was the first diploma of its kind in Ras Al Khaimah.

Prof. Hassan, President of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, said, “AURAK is proud to be working with the Ras Al Khaimah government and the Sheikh Saqr Program for Excellence.”

The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is an independent co-education institution of Higher Education that provides an integrated American-style, undergraduate and graduate education with a strong focus on local indigenous culture. The UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research accredit all of AURAK’s programs.

Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence is one of the government entities tasked with the development of the different aspects of the public sector. The Program was established according to Emiri Decree No. (10) for 2004. The Program comprises three main programs: Scholarships and Leadership Development, Government Quality Award and RAK Competitiveness Office.
