RAK Police Officers Complete “Risk Management” Training

Police officers were awarded certificates at Ras Al Khaimah Police General Head Quarters, having completed a course in risk management at RAK Research and Innovation Center (RAKRIC) which is part of American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK).

Professor Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, AURAK president, and Professor Mousa Mohsen, Dean of the School of Engineering both attended the ceremony, felicitating the officers for their achievement.  Brigadier Jamal Ahmad Al Tayer, Director-General of Resources and Support Services at RAK Police, was also present, and on behalf of RAK Police thanked AURAK for the initiative.

Professor Al Alkim and Brigadier Al Tayer exchanged tokens of appreciation, signifying the cooperation between the two entities.

This ceremony is yet another example of AURAK’s contribution to the Ras Al Khaimah community, in keeping with the University’s strategic goal of social responsibility.  RAKRIC offers training courses which allow individuals to enhance their key skills and competencies, and prepare them to serve as successful leaders and professionals in their respective fields.
